On December 15th, Columbia-based Copa Airlines will begin flying from n Panama City, Panama to Port-of-Spain. The flight from Copa’s Panama City hub to the capital of Trinidad and Tobago will operate four times weekly. Trinidad and Tobago is a major tourist destination offering crystal clear water and white sand beaches, as well as an industrial hub for the oil and gas economic sectors.
“This new flight makes Copa Airlines the best connection for travel between Port-of-Spain and our region. Our passengers will be able to connect with flights at our Hub of the Americas in Panama to numerous destinations in Latin America,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.
Copa currently flies to 21 countries in the Caribbean and North, Central, and South America, and serves 39 cities with 116 daily flights. Through codeshare agreements with carriers such as Continental Airlines, the carrier offers connections to more than 120 other destinations.
