Hotel Indigo Changi Airport will open a new 255-room hotel at Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 2 by 2028. The hotel aims to be the first zero-energy hotel in Singapore and potentially the first zero-energy airport hotel globally, incorporating sustainable features like solar panels, hybrid cooling systems, naturally ventilated corridors, and rainwater-harvesting technology. Located in the public area of Terminal 2 and connected via a linkway, the hotel will enhance Changi’s hospitality offerings.
Facilities will include a rooftop day club, bar, and an infinity pool with views of the runway. The design will feature a ‘Floating Forest’ with layers of lush rainforest and hanging plants stretching over seven stories. The hotel will complement Changi Airport’s existing landside hotels, Crowne Plaza at Terminal 3 and YOTELAIR in Jewel, increasing the total number of landside rooms to 960 by 2028.
Changi Airport currently hosts three airside hotels for transit passengers. This new addition is part of Changi Airport Group’s effort to meet growing travel demand and provide differentiated facilities for visitors. The hotel will enhance convenience for travelers and attract more visitors to explore the Changi Airport and its attractions.
